LiL WAYNE MAKES HISTORY....and he number #1

LiL Wayne's "I Am Not a Human Being" debut number #1 on the Billboard 200 list this week at 125k sold.. His digital download version  of the debut  #2 on the Billboard with 110k downloaded in the first week, two weeks ago.

This  is actually history. The only other person to debut number one on the Billboard, while in prison was the late great Tupac, for his hip hop classic,  "Me Against the World"..... MrNikbagtv's Take:  I already said this ep was very solid, and the public support show; I was right. I like being right, but the album was excellent. Some of the standout track on the album are, "That Ain’t Me" feat. Jay Sean,  Hold Up feat. T-Streets, and  Popular, even though the whole album can easily be played; I picked those three, because it shows the versatility of the album....."CAN'T WAIT for THE CARTER 4"......

TWITTER CAN PREDICT THE STOCK MARKET.....

The general mood among Twitter users can predict the rise and fall of the stock market almost a week in advance, a new study has found.


A computer scientist in the US has discovered that the correlation between the Dow Jones and the collective public mood was almost 90 per cent accurate.

The link raises the startling possibility that stockbrokers may one day be able to make bets on the stock market based purely on how people are feeling on Twitter and blogs.

Traders work on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange on September 18th 2008 as it lost almost 450 points in a day. Scientists say that Twitter might help to predict changes in the stock market

MrNikbagtv's Take:  I'm not going to take this serious, your not going to get me to actually believe this. People tweets can predict the stock market. In all my recent twitter experiences the only commodities that came up in my timeline was hip-hop trannies, groupies, and coke heads. Or sometimes I would get the occasional  "#textthatleadstosex" trending topic. Now, when fake virgina, hepatitis confessions, and teenage sexual urges can b sold to the highest bidder; I would defiantly look for twitter as a main source.....

I know why this report came out. It is simple media control;  make an non-existent issue, existent and relevant. You can probably get ready to start seeing tweets from people endorsing wierd items, like bacon  and oranges. Be on the look out for the #pickablingnickelorzinc.....

According to The Commercial Appeal;  in Memphis, Tennessee; Vice Young has been deemed day-to-day after the Monday Night injury to his left knee.

On Tuesday, coach Jeff Fisher called Young "lucky.'' He also said the fifth-year pro would be "day to day" because of the knee and ankle sprains he suffered during the first quarter of Monday's 30-3 win over the Jaguars.

The Titans return to the practice field today.

"I don't know whether he'll be able to practice. We're going to have to wait to find out," Fisher said. "But I believe he'll be day to day probably throughout most of the week.

"If you look at the mechanism and what happened in the game I could stand up here and say he's lucky. He has just a mild knee sprain and he has an ankle sprain. He's sore. As he said, he's typically been a quick healer, and we'll just go with him day to day.''

Young could have gone back into the game, Fisher said, but would have been able to take snaps only in the shotgun formation.

MrNikbagtv's Take: Vince Young is in one of his best positions of his career to make a real run in the playoffs. He can't afford to be so soft when it counts. Brent Favre is playing through all kinds of injuries and nick gnats, and this guy is day to day with a knee sprain. Come on dude you got to man up, and show some dog. If he does shake off the one bad pass from being a back-up tag now, he never will. I think Young should step up now , and let it be known that he will be starting this Sunday, and he is ready to play. I would hate for Collins to play good Sunday, and become the starter for the remainder of the season.....

THE NEW YORK KNICKS IS STILL IN PLAY FOR CARMELO ANTHONY

I actually thought all this talk about Carmelo Anthony wanting to leave the Denver Nuggets was just gossip, but it seems to still  may be in the process of becoming reality.

According to Espn New York, The New York Knicks have been working overtime to acquire the All-Star forward from the Denver Nuggets and have "made significant progress in recent days,"

A few months ago, it seemed like Carmelo was destines to be shipped to New Jersey Nets, for Derrick Favors, in a four team deal that included the Utah Jazz, Charlotte Bobcats, Denver Nuggets, but it feel through. Now, the site is reporting that the Knicks is still a major player in acquiring "MELO". The site revealed that the Knicks "got back in on the bidding about two weeks ago" when Anthony told the Nuggets that he wasn't interested in the slightest in signing its three-year, $65 million contract extension that had been sitting on the table for a few months.


ESPN notes that the offers from the Knicks are "always centered around packages" that have Anthony Randolph(notes), Eddy Curry(notes) and his expiring contract, and a first-round draft pick that the Knicks would pick up in a different trade. But also, "New York has softened its stance on including forward Danilo Gallinari(notes) in a trade," ESPN reports.

The site's source says the Chicago Bulls are still also a possible destination for Anthony as well and the Nets are no longer that interested in including rookie Derrick Favors(notes) in a deal for Anthony.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas' wife, Virgina Thomas wants an apology from Anita Hill for her accusations of sexual harassment of her husband 19 years ago.

"I have no intention of apologizing because I testified truthfully about my experience and I stand by that testimony," Hill, now a Brandeis University professor, said in a statement released Tuesday night.

Thomas' wife, Virginia, had left a voicemail message on Hill's phone over the weekend asking her to say she was sorry for the allegations that surfaced at Thomas' confirmation hearings for a seat on the high court bench in 1991.


In her statement, Hill said, "I certainly thought the call was inappropriate." She had worked for Clarence Thomas in two federal government jobs prior to the time he was selected for the court by President George H.W. Bush for the Supreme Court.

Virginia Thomas said in a statement that she was "extending an olive branch" to Hill.

Young Chris gets a "DEAL"..Signs to Divison One/Motown

Young Chris is back from a five year break, or whatever you want to call it, but dude is back. In a big way too, he just sighed a deal to One Division/ Motown records. He will be joining Rico Love at Division one. They announced this commencement via twitter, Tuesday. This is a good look for Young Chris I been a fan since first hearing him on Hot97 in the early 2000’s. Hope all the best for Chris, and I hope he get the recognition he deserves.
